The 1,700 sq .ft. C Loft is constructed in a nondescript former commercial loft building in Tribeca. Its free flowing vertical and horizontal solid planes are used to divide the area into rooms on two levels sufficient for a large family. The shifted planes maintain the transparency of the loft from north to south. The gaps between the solid planes will be filled with translucent green house paneling, in order to provide visual and acoustic separation of spaces. The filtering of the light from one space to the next will function as a unifying element.
